Adult/Beginner YogaYoga Basics with Kim Kaplan Open to all levels, this introductory class will help ground you in the foundation moves of yoga. Whether you want to strengthen your ongoing practice, are returning as a student, or just starting out, this class will help solidify your understanding and experience of yoga.
Hatha Yoga with Ina Sachar Intro to Yoga with Kim Kaplan In these six-week programs, participants will learn ASANAS (postures), PRANAYAMA (breath), simple MEDITATION TECHNIQUES, and yogic philosophy. These classes will give students the opportunity to experience the gifts of yoga under the close supervision of the primary instructor and the teaching assistant as well as the opportunity to ask questions. Upon completion of either class, students will have an understanding of Yoga as a whole, allowing for a smooth transition into open-level Yoga classes. These classes are for those with some yoga experience to none at all. All are welcome to deepen their understanding of self (body and mind). all the styles of yoga on our yoga page, plus therapeutic yoga for
disabled or aging family members (chair yoga). Pilates lessons
include mat work and exercise utilizing the fit ball, light weights,
magic circle and thera-bands. Corporate Classes Available!
Reap the benefits of Pilates & Yoga in the workplace! We will come to you or you may join us here at the center. Either way it's a benefit your employees will enjoy with results that everyone can appreciate. We look forward to assisting you! For a class of 25 people, the Pilates and Yoga Center of St. Louis offer a special rate of $15/person, for a minimum of $2250 for a six-week class. For smaller classes, there is a flat rate of $200/class for the first 10 people, with $15/additional person, for a minimum of $1200 for a six-week class. We stage one free demo class, where we bring all props and equipment needed. After that, yoga/Pilates mats and Pilates circles are offered at a special rate of $25/each for those who need them.
